Rules of the School

Forbidden practices

  • Participation in any act prejudicial to national interest.
  • Moral turpitude.
  • Practice of casteism, communalism or untouchability.
  • Theft or cheating.
  • Rowdyism of other rude behavior.
  • Use of violence in any form.
  • Any form of gambling.
  • Use of any drugs or intoxicants except on prescription by a Registered Medical Practitioner.
  • Smoking.
  • Disfiguring or otherwise damaging School property.
  • Truancy.

Form of disciplinary measures

The following disciplinary measures may be adopted by the school in dealing with erring pupils who indulge in any of the above forbidden practices:

  • Warning.
  • Fine.
  • Expulsion.
  • Rustication.

General Rules for Students

  • On all workings days, the children are expected to wear the uniform prescribed for that session or as announced for a special occasion. They must come to school neat and tidy, otherwise they will be sent back and are liable to disciplinary action.
  • Those coming late must show the teacher-in-charge their “regular record” duly signed by duty Teacher of the day or the Principle.
  • No books (other than text or library books), magazines or paper should be brought to the school.
  • Books, stationary, bag, Tiffin box etc. should bear the name, class and section of the owner. The School will not be responsible for any loss.
  • Those who bring cycles must keep them at the cycle stand and lock them properly. School shall, NOT accept any responsibility for any loss of cycle.
  • Students should realize that the School property is a national trust and as such it’s up keep, is as much their responsibility as that of the administrator. Therefore, no one should disfigure the furniture or deface the wall with pencil, ink, color or knife mark. Theft/ damage to any type of School property will not be condoned under any circumstances. The person involved will be penalized according to the seriousness of the offence.
  • Children are strictly warned not to purchase eatables from unauthorized dealers near the School premises or to go out the School during school hours without permission of the Principle.
  • All students are expected to maintain perfect discipline and proper atmosphere of studies in the School.
  • Students are expected to observe perfect silence in the Reading room / Library and not to disturb others in any way.
  • No students is permitted to leave the class during a period without permission of the concerned teacher.
  • While going to special room or playground student must move quietly in queue so that other classes are not disturbed.
  • Students are required to maintain cleanliness by making use of dustbins provided at various places and in the class-rooms.
  • Students are supposed to be well behaved, courteous and polite in their dealings.
  • Students must show proper respect to teachers and carry out their instruction faithfully.
  • A minimum of 75% of the total attendance of the academic session is necessary for appearing in Annual Examination.
  • A pupil who fails to appear in the Annual Examination even though he has secured sufficient marks in periodical test & half yearly examination is deemed to have been failed in the Annual Examination.

Students found guilty of infringement of the above rules or conduct shall be liable to disciplinary action
